Landscapes in Ink

This artwork is India ink on Yupo paper. I mix the ink with water and apply in layers leaving the white of the paper as the lightest part of the artwork. The final piece is very resilient, resists fading, and does not need to be protected with glass. Most often, I mount the work on birch panels 1.5” thick. This makes a very stable mount with a clean, professional appearance. Further framing can be done with floater frames but is not necessary.
